POWERS.

BASICS
There are two classes of powers, passive and physical. These two classes both have two subclasses, minor and major. Passive powers are mental powers, in which the body takes no or very little part, and can even seem innocent of any involvement. Physical powers are, obviously, powers that rely heavily on the body. Each character on this site may have up to two powers, one major and one minor. Below is a list of powers suggested by the admins. However, these are merely suggestions. Your character can have any reasonable power you can think of.
SUGGESTED MAJOR PASSIVE POWERS
Elemental Manipulation - The ability to control fire, water, earth, or air. This is not conjuring; you cannot pull it out of thin air. But, for example, if you have a lighter, you can shoot the fire at another person. Only one element can be controlled by one person. Please note that earth includes metals.
Mental Manipulation - The ability to make others do what you want. In other words, mind control. This is a very powerful and dangerous ability.
Telepathy - The ability to read minds and communicate mentally. Telepaths have, basically, complete access to current mind, although they can only see what you're thinking or feeling at that moment. Memories are inaccessible to them.
Telekineses - This power allows you to move objects simply by willing them to move. You cannot, however, control the movements of people and animals, and you cannot read minds. You can hit a home run every time, though. Haha.
Molecular Immobilization - The ability to freeze time. This power slows down molecules to the point where they no longer move.
Molecular Combustion - The opposite of molecular immobilization, this ability speeds up molecules until they explode, or burst into flames. Generally depends on the object.
Animal Empathy - The ability to communicate in basic terms with animals, allowing the animals to be trained or taught far more easily than normally.
Illusions - The ability to conjure false images, and make others believe them to be real. These illusions can be huge and elaborate, often broken by breaking the concentration of the conjurer alone.
Genius - Simply put, this is the ability of being very, very, inhumanly intelligent.
Reflection - The ability to mirror the power of someone else and send it back at them.
SUGGESTED MINOR PASSIVE POWERS
Empathy - Heightened awareness of the emotions of those surrounding you.
Premonitions - The ability to dream about things that haven't happened yet, and therefore to know the future.
Foresight - The ability to predict the futures of others.
Hindsight - The ability to know a person's past without communication.
Plant Empathy - The ability to communicate with plants. This can be used to coax plants into growing.
Psychic Shield - This power conjures up a shield around you that bounces whatever has been thrown at you in the opposite direction.
Charm - The ability to persuade and endear others through words, easily. This does not mean good looks, it simply means that people are naturally attracted to you and compelled to agree with you.

SUGGESTED MAJOR PHYSICAL POWERS
Inhuman Strength - One of the very basics, the ability to lift objects with enormous masses. Muscles may or may not be visible, and building muscle may or may not increase strength, depending on the individual.
Inhuman Speed - The ability to run at speeds that would kill normal human beings. This power may not give you visibly strong legs, but they will be much more powerful than a regular person's.
Flight - The power to elevate your body and travel from place to place in air. This is flight without wings. Flight does not include iron lungs to face low oxygen levels or immunity to the cold which you will undoubtedly run into at high altitudes.
Mutation - A physical change that enhances your physical being, such as wings, or wolf ears, which allow you to hear excellently.
Shapeshifting - To change from one form to another, whether completely or partially (like a werewolf). There are animal shifters and object shifters.
Doppelgänger - Someone who is able to take on the complete appearance of someone they have seen.
Glamoring - The ability to change your physical appearance in any way; facially, bodily, racially, etc.
Invulnerability - Immunity to damage of any kind, although not to pain. This ability basically turns your skin into a shield around your body which cannot be broken.
Element Conjuring - The ability to make fire, water, earth or air out of nowhere. However, you cannot necessarily control what it will do. You can point it in a general direction, and then the rest is up to chance.
Duplication - The ability to make a copy of yourself and therefore double-team any oponent, connected by thoughts. You are the perfect partner in crime for yourself, because if you want something done right you've got to do it yourself.
Major Healing - The ability to heal large wounds and even grow back limbs, for some individuals. However, the healing process takes a while, and can be very painful.
SUGGESTED MINOR PHYSICAL POWERS
Heightened Senses - A better sense of sight, smell, taste, touch, or sound than an average human being's.
Conductivity - Attractiveness to electrical charges which can be channelled through the body without harming it to other objects or people.
Immunity - The power to withstand a certain element, for example the ability to survive being lit on fire or to be able to breath through water.
Elasticity - the ability to distort or contort your body with ease and without damaging yourself. This ability can also allow you to stretch limbs.
Steel Stomach - The ability to injest or digest virtually anything without becoming sick or damaging your insides.
Laser Vision - Uncontrollably beams are emitted from your eyes of such great heat that anything they make contact with is melted or burned to a crisp.
Invisibility - The ability to make yourself undetectable, and disappear from sight completely. You may also become partially invisible, to look translucent, which is great for Hallowe'en.
Minor Healing - A very useful little skill, minor healing allows you to regenerate skin cells and patch up little scrapes and bruises on yourself or for others, although there is a limit to this power - you can't cure one hundred scrapes in a time span of fifteen minutes, you'd exhaust yourself, maybe even to the point of fatality.
