[ ]   LET'S MAKE A RUN TONIGHT

The bare essentials — necessities, if you enjoyed the movie The Jungle Book — for surviving and enjoying your stay on this board, both in character and out. The rules, the plot, and any other need-to-knows will be posted here. Please, read them. For your good and mine.

[ ]   BLINDED BY THE LIGHTS

This is where it all begins for your character. Once you've read all the threads in the board above, and you know everything you need to start roleplaying, you can mosey on in to this board and fill out a character application. Once an admin accepts it and you've been sorted into your member group, you can start roleplaying!

[ ]    THIS NIGHT IS ALL WE'VE GOT

Here is where you character plot can be posted. If you don't know what it is, it's basically a chart that lists your character's relationships; their friends, enemies, romantic partners, and more. Not everyone makes one, but it helps keep track of what characters on the site think of each other -- who's mortal enemies with who, who's dating who, stuff like that.

ST. CATHERINE'S BOARDING SCHOOL ,
[ ]   ADMINSTRATION OFFICE

Ah, the main office. Home of the school secretaries and virtually every important document of the institute. Some might say that it's not safe to keep so much vital information in one place, but it's tradition! Also, they needn't worry... the filing cabinets have locks! Modern technology, it's a wonder.

[ ]   LIBRARY

This library has everything you could possibly want! Books upon books upon books, big, comfy chairs, and even a fussy old librarian, although I'm not really sure who wants that. There's a big bay window that looks out at the lawns so you can do a little people watching while you read, too. Just remember to keep down the noise.

[ ]   LOUNGE

Cable tv? Who would've thunk it. The lounge is filled with couches and chairs and tables here and there and bookshelves and piles of magazines and everything lies everywhere; the room is extremely messy, and always has been.

[ ]   CAFETERIA

Hungry? Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served in the cafeteria, known affectionately as 'the caf' by the students. Kitchen staff make lovely meals everyday for everyone. In between meals, students can come here to read, study, or just hang out.

[ ]   GIRLS' DORMITORIES

Where the girls sleep, basically. And get dressed and brush their teeth and all that fun stuff. There are three beds in every room, although some lucky girls have their own rooms or only one roommate. Unfortunately, even if that's true, they have to share a bathroom with about five other roomfuls of girls.
00
[ ]   BOYS' DORMITORIES

At the exact opposite end of the building from the girls' dorms, by mere coincidence I'm sure, this is where the boys sleep, dress, brush their teeth, etcetera. They, too, have three beds per room, and some lucky exceptions where only one or two are used, but these bathrooms are quite crowded as well.
00
[ ]   COURTYARD

A medium-sized paved area with a basketball net on one side, a large fountain in the middle and a whole lot of benches. A nice place to hang out when the weather's nice. or, if you like the rain, I suppose when the weather's not so nice too. But there wouldn't be much to do out here in the rain. Just sit.

[ ]   RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

The name is used in the most liberal fashion, seeing as this is really just a big grassy field. You'll have to use your imagination to have fun here! A big oak and maple trees can be found here and there, providing wonderful shade on hot days.

FLATRIDGE ,
[ ]   PARK

Pretty green lawns spread out across a large area here. Grey pavement paths crisscross through here, with benches every now and then as well as trash cans. Many trees grow here. Birds sing from the trees, young couples hold hands as they walk, mothers push strollers, owners walk dogs... it's a pretty busy place even for small town Connecticut.

[ ]  THE MALL

A regular old mall, full of stores. There's a Starbucks and a Subway and clothes stores and lingerie stores and everything you can imagine. If you need anything when you come into town, this should always be your first destination. it's the quickest way to get everything you need or want; maybe not the cheapest, but definitely the quickest.
00
[ ]   THE OLD BARN

The old barn is on the outskirts of town. It's an old broken down thing, the paint has faded and the only thing that really lives there are the barn cats that sleep under the mountains of hay bails that reach the rafters of the place.
